“ We are so lucky to have found this place on our first evening here. It’s got a family atmosphere. Very friendly and jovial. Simple freshly made to order great dishes. Two chefs, two waiting staff… they set the heather on fire!! You cannot fail to enjoy this place!! It’s not posh, but it works. ”
“ Definitely the best food and service for the few days we were exploring Toulouse! The dishes were fresh, inventive and delicious! If there's one place for food you'd check out in Toulouse, I'd say this was it! It is also right next to the bridge and river so lovely for a stroll after! ”
“ Les Galopins offered a very good and authentic Toulouse region meal. The food was high quality, flavorful and delightful. The service was great with the friendly restaurant team always ready to chat and joke. It is definitely not a formal place but rather a place to enjoy with friends to have a really enjoyable evening. ”
“ The warmest staff welcomed us for dinner. The food was yummy and the ambiance/decor was lovely. There is also a bar if you're not looking to eat. I highly recommend this place. ”
“ Olivier made this experience one of the best ever. He took his time and explained the ENTIRE menu to us in detail. We had the burger and the ribeye and they were both amazing. The price of the food versus the portions are extremely fair and this was one of the best meals we have had in Toulouse so far. I highly recommend this place and having Olivier as your server, he was awesome and so funny! ”
“ I had the Magret de Canard (ordered au point) with Chardonnay and then Viognier, followed by Panna Cotta and paid 60€ for that. The first Magret was way overdone and hard as a shoe, so I had to send it back (first time in my life - yeah me?) The second Magret was fine, still chewy and more saignant than au point but fine. The Chardonnay was good (at 5€ per glass), but since it's such an ordinary grape, I felt like ordering the Viognier Petit Loup, which was, in fact, differently good. The Panna Cotta was excellent, maybe the best I had all my life (I had, like, four previously). My waiter was very busy but professional, a little reserved after I sent back the first dish, but relaxed again later. Sitting on the terrace is always nice, many people passing by, so it's not boring. Good atmosphere. All in all, if I had paid 30 instead of 60€, I would have given four stars. ”
“ We were a big group for lunch here and everyone loved the place. The service was great and so was the quality of the food. I had the vegetarian burger with a side of celery risotto! It was fabulous! ”
